My most sincere condolences to Dan's family and friends. I'll always remember him as a wonderful teacher who greeted everyone with a smile. He was such a friendly and personable teacher. Both my children had him as their teacher and always spoke highly of him. I was a supply teacher when my children were at Massey Vanier and he always remembered me and spoke with me no matter where I happened to meet him around town. He always had something positive to say about all his students and my children were no exception. He was a caring teacher who never forgot his students' names. The world has lost a wonderful man. R.I.P. Rev. Poirier.

Mr Poirier as he was called by my two boys, Justin and Charles had a keen sense of humor which I hope helped him deal with their naughtiness. He and I had quite a few religious discussions which always ended with laughter.
My condolences to the family.

I Only had you for one year in high school (class of 2003) but you definitely made a positive impact on my life. You were always in a good mood, had a funny joke and Went out of your way to say hi in the hallway. A person has a lot of teachers along their educational career and it takes a special one to stand out and you sir were one of those special ones. Thank you for investing your time into my education.
My deepest condolences to your family.
