Obituary for Frederick "Fred" Whiskin

Frederick "Fred" Whiskin
Passed away peacefully at the Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, with his family by his side on Friday, June 27, 2014 at the age of 91. Fred Whiskin, beloved husband of the late Betty Whiskin (nee Gowers). Cherished father of Pat Cooke (Reg), Carol Wilson (Bill) and Sue Koohtow (Rick). Loving grandfather of Kevin (Cheri), Erin and the late Timothy. Fred is survived by his sisters Lillian Brierley and Dorothy Harris, and is predeceased by his brother Bill. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm, where a Funeral Service will take place on Friday, July 4, 2014 at 10:30 am. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Blue Springs Scout Reserve would be greatly appreciated by the family.
