I am so very saddened to learn about the passing of dear Doug... He was a great friend, and always so supportive of me and my efforts to publish my magazine. We had first met at the Burlington Ribfest, and he supported my writings and hard work. He was such a rock... We lived one street over and even when he moved, he still dropped by for a visit and popped in to say 'hello'... what a wonderful man, and i thank him for the many smiles and hugs.
My condolences to the family. Heaven just gained an angel.
