Dad's birds
A fond memory that I have of my father was his collection of cage birds. In his home build cages, some of size he kept several species of colourful finches. The car rides to Flikkema Aviaries near the lake were enjoyed as when we were there there was so much for a small boy to see. The various species hopping and flying around from branch to branch. So much activity and the lovely sounds of song.
