Obituary for Esther "Stella" Wilk

Passed away at Orchard Terrace Care Centre, on Monday, August 22, 2016, in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Walter (2002). Loved mother of Josephine Kozun (late John), Frank Wilk (Pat) and Alfred Wilk (Fran). Cherished grandmother of fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great-granchildren. Dear sister of Carl Ostryznick (Sharon) and the late Nellie Novak (John) and Frank Ostryznick (Mary). Special aunt of Michael Draus (Monika) and Stanley Draus (Jane). Lovingly remembered by many other nieces and nephews as well. Stella was a member of the Polish Alliance Ladies Circle for 60 years and a member of the Polish Alliance Branch 2. Special thanks to the staff at Orchard Terrace Care Centre and to all the PSW's who cared for Stella at home. We especially want to express our thanks to Gloria for her special care and attention over the last couple of years. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 934 Highway #8, Winona, on Friday, August 26, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Mountview Gardens. If desired, memorial contributions to Immaculate Heart of Mary Building Fund or the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
