I only interacted with Wendy for a short time, but she was always kind, helpful, and generous with her time. I’d imagine she was always that way to her dearest family and friends. My heart aches for this tragic passing. God bless you, Wendy. And thank you.

Dave and Family, my heart goes out to you all, I am afraid I never met Wendy, but have known Dave for 10+ years, Never easy to loose someone, especially someone so young. Again I am very sorry.

I have known Wendy for almost 30 years. She was a wonderful person: Not just nice and kind; but an individual whose warmth was felt by those around her. So many great times with her! She is gone too soon but she has left an impression on not just my memories but on my heart. My deepest sympathies to Dave and Shirley - and everybody else who loved her dearly as she will be terribly missed.

Although over many years I only met up with Wendy at family gatherings of many kinds, Sunny days and rainy and windy days on Lake Simcoe, Christmas Eve at 16 Balaclava, weddings and funerals. Over those 40 some years of occasional get togethers, every time, every single time, she exuded sweetness and kindness. It literally emitted from her. You know those bad days when you're feeling a wee bit cynical about the world today? Think of Wendy and pass it on.
