I was saddened to hear of Richard’s passing. In the dictionary under gentleman should be a picture of Richard. I had the good fortune of playing with and against Rich in the Oakville Men’s slowpitch league for several years and it was always a pleasure. He will be sorely missed.

I am sending my heartfelt condolence to Richard's family and loved ones. Richard was a very patient caring and helpful man. I had the pleasure of work under him supporting field services back in the 90's. He always made us feel comfortable and appreciated. He loved to laugh and would always be there if you needed him. May the lord embrace you. Rest in Peace Richard.

James, Kim, Tiffany and Phil,

My condolences and my heart goes out to all of you during this time.
As a fellow goalie in the BOHC, I had the pleasure in playing against Richard on a number of occasions. During the games he would always play with respect for everyone on the ice. Off the ice he was always smiling, welcoming and a really excellent person. I am thankful to have meet him and to know him both as a goalie and a person.

Rest in Peace Richard.

Dear James & Kim, Tiffany & Phill,

I am so sorry for your loss.
I have such fond memories of your dad, and that time we came to visit your family out in Regina. He was so enthusiastic about life, passionate about hocky, a wonderful uncle, and a dedicated family man.
He was indeed someone special, and Mary and I are so lucky to have had Uncle Richard in our lives.
I apologize that I cannot make it home for his funeral. I hope to see you again someday soon.

Give my love to Logan and Hailey
