Condolences

Condolence From: warren macdonald
Condolence: i knew john as a grade 9/10 student and football player. when he knew he hadn't done too well in his final exams, he hung around the school while the grade meetings were taking place. when he saw me he asked me how he had done. i told me he failed 2 subjects and according to the rules of the day, he failed his year. it also meant he couldn't play football the following season. he was not only very despondent, he was also afraid to face his father. he asked me to go home with him to see his father. i had never met mike before. now i didn't know who was more afraid of mike.....john or i. all worked out ok. john never played the next year and the yurincich family moved to burlington when mike bought the cornation and john went to burlington central. our paths crossed many times over the next 40 years. we often related that story of the early sixties. i always considered john to be one of the very good things that comes out of teaching/coaching. god bless him and his family. i will miss him. it was my honour to know him.

Condolence: ,What can we possibly say that can ease your sadness but that we all loved John for the warm and wonderful person that he was. He never judged anyone and only seemed to see the good in people. There are not too many people in the world that have that quality, but we are lucky to see that kindness in the legacy that John has left behind. Mary Ann, Joanne, Linda and Susan, you are proof that he will never be forgotten because his goodness will shine on through his family and that is something that can never be taken away. Moe always called him John F. Kennedy because John had that type of presence that you felt whenever he walked into a room. His jovial personality made people comfortable and that was what made him the great person that he was and we are proud that he came into our family. We will never forget the time we were looking at your pictures of the trip to Australia and the one of John in the flower garden made us all laugh because he seemed so out of place amongst all the flowers. Now, that photo will always hold a special place in our hearts because John is the one who will stand out in heaven too, as the most special and beautiful flower of all. We love you John and will miss you. Love, your cousins in Tecumseh.

Condolence: Mr. Y was at firt my best friend's dad, but over the years he became my chaperone (countless times), my boss, my father figure away from home, my friend. My heart ached when I heard the news. But coming together with the Yurincich girls again to share their grief I realized Mr.Y is far from gone. Susan, I hear his voice in your laughter. Linda, I see his smile on your face. Joanne, I feel his strength in your presence. And Mrs. Y, to me you will always be two hearts dwelling in one soul. Mr. Y's passing will never change that. The love and faith of your extraordinary family will see you through these difficult times. I am blessed for having known Mr. Y. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your family. Know that you are not only in my thoughts and prayers but in my heart forever.
