Obituary for Joan Rosemarie Garth (Stevens)
Passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the age of 79. Loving wife of the late Ronald Victor Garth (1987) and the late Denis Frank Wallace (2014). Loving mother of Stephen (Hazel), the late Paul, Sharon Aydinli (Senol) and Karen Garth (Bernie Lalonde). Proud grandmother of Emily, Joey, Jim, Lindsay, Rachel, Jeremy, Brandon, Nina, Spencer, Reese, Paul, Kristina and John. Joan, devoted, caring and generous mother, grandmother and friend will be greatly missed. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church (2265 Headon Road, Burlington) on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11:00am. Reception to follow at the church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in memory of Joan can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
