Auntie Eva, you made a difference in my life, I have always loved you and appreciated how you and Clarence welcomed me into your home. I have so many memories of you both. I will miss our phone calls. I'm so glad you got to visit with us here in New Brunswick, it was a great time for sure. You were always such a true lady, so classy and thoughtful and beautiful inside and out. Every one who ever met you immediately fell in love with you, you have touched so many lives and will be sorely missed. Our hearts are breaking, Rick, Jim, my father Al and Ken and all you families, we are so sorry for you loss, we are grieving with you. Eva your memory will always be with us, Rest well dear sweet Eva.

Thank you Eva for being a part of our lives! You started out as a caregiver to our sons Alex and Oliver over 20 years ago (starting when they were both only one year old). It didn't take long until our relationship with you evolved from "babysitter" to close family friend. We will always be grateful for the way that you and Clare graciously welcomed us into your extended family and into your daily lives. We have wonderful memories of our kids mixed in with your grandkids at Easter egg hunts, stopping by your house every year for celebrations like Christmas, Halloween, birthdays and numerous other family events big & small throughout the years. You would think that once our kids "grew up" that our relationship with you would fade but that was never the case - we remained close friends with you and Clare throughout your long and eventful lives. Years ago, we were even inspired to visit your old home town in Alberton, PEI - truly one of the most beautiful places on earth. We remember gazing out across the water to the lighthouse where you told us that you lived and being amazed that we could say that our kids were in the care of an actual lighthouse keeper's daughter. Maybe it was because you lived in a lighthouse that you always radiated such a positive and inspirational light into the lives of everyone that you knew. We will miss you Eva!
