It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Don on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the age of 88. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 62 years, Lois (2017). Dearly loved father of Sharon Trojner (Frank). Cherished grandfather of Matthew and Christy Trojner. Don was also predeceased by his dearest children Lynn and John Revell, and his loving parents Clifford and Margaret Revell. Sincere thanks to Lincoln Park Retirement Home staff, for all their support, love, TLC and friendship over the past 4 years. Don's "Lincoln Park family" was so important to him, and he was truly blessed to have had such amazing people in his life. Don taught me Geography at Beamsville High School. I have been interested in geography ever since. Don was a breath of fresh air for all of us as restless, rebellious teenagers. I grew to love the guy and had the greatest respect for him. He was a man of strong character who liked to remind us that he grew up in Hamilton on the tough side of town. Don, you had a positive affect on so many of us over the years. God bless you for that.

My deepest condolences the Ravell family. While I personally did not know Don, my late husband, Howard Staff, was a great 'admirer' of Don both during his years at Beamsville High School and in the years that followed. Howard never forgot Don's connection with his students.....and his memory of the same students years later. A remarkable man....,he will be sorely missed by many.

I remember Mr. Revell well, as we called him, from the 10A Geography class of 1956 at Beamsville High, which I believe was his first teaching post, when he was only some 10 years older than his pupils, which likely helped greatly in forging a strong teacher-pupil bond. He was always ready for good discussions on evolving issues. Probably like most students, I quickly lost touch with Beamsville HS and its staff once reaching university, but will always remember Don Revell as a great teacher. Hopefully we'll meet again up there! David Edwards

Don Revell - Thank you for helping teaching me to look in three directions at once. You taught me to look at the past as a window into the future and encouraged me to look at what was happening in the present and how responsibility plays a roll. To me, you were an early harbinger of climate change .
