I remember Aunt Barbara mostly from her pictures; my mother, Harley Gillmore Oseen, was John Gillmore's younger sister, and we lived far away, in Southern Alberta, from John and Barbara and their kids. She had a wonderful smile, which I saw once again when I dropped in on John and Barbara coming back from a conference in Cuba. Although I hadn't seen either of them since my grandmother Isa Gillmore's death, they welcomed me very kindly, and we had a great afternoon, discussing their pictures, and particularly their pictures from John's time in England in the 1960s at military college. Barbara and John were very close; it was touching--and admirable--to see the two of them together. My condolences to my cousins, Heather, Cathy and Ron. Take care, Collette Oseen
