Marjorie Edith Shepherd
With saddened hearts, we announce the death of our mother, Marjorie Shepherd, proud grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 12. Marjorie died peacefully, surrounded by her family, in the Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, Ontario on September 9, 2011. Marjorie was predeceased by Jonas (The Rev. J.E.C. Shepherd), her beloved husband for 63 years. She will be deeply missed by her family: Mae & The Rev. Bert Radford, daughter Carol (David) Radford -Grant and children Jeffery and Anthony and daughter Marilyn (Tom) Nicholson and children Alex and Haley; Joanne & Bill Rose, daughter Jocelyn (Jamie Decker) and their daughter Gillian, son Adam (Adina) and children Juliana and Zachary; Bill & Joyce Shepherd, son Joshua (Jenna) and children, Tyler and Briar; Ruth & Cal Miller, son Rob and daughter Megan and her daughter Ava; AnnE & Joel Zimmerman, daughter Sonia (Rob Manson), daughter Sarah and her children Kayla and Ethan, and son Will (Andrea Burisch). Marjorie is survived by her brother and sisters: Gordon Curl (Mary Carolyne), Irene Marchildon (Tom, deceased), Eleanor (Vern) Sheridan and Betty (Brian) Cloudsdale. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow at the Funeral Home. Urn Interment at Burlington Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
