It is with great sadness that we announce Reg’s unexpected passing on Friday, February 22, 2019 at her home at the age of 59. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by her husband Daniel of almost 42 years, her sons Chris and Joey, daughter-in-law (daughter) Natalie and treasured grandchildren, her “sunshines” Julia and Callen. She will also be dearly missed by her mother, Noemia Resendes, her best friend and sister Susan Grant, her nieces Crystal and Chantelle and nephew Justin. Reg’s ability to make a person feel strong and important in their weakest moments was a gift that will be truly remembered and missed. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333, on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm, with vigil prayers at 3:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church (715 Centre Road, Waterdown), on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 10:30am. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Reception to follow the interment at the Church Hall.
