My dear sister Brenda Blackwood “Bird” passed away in October 2014. She struggled with mental health issues for years. Jean was one of Bird’s shining lights. She helped Bird when Bird was at her lowest. So Bird made a green altar cloth for St Elizabeths’ Church in Burlington and a beautiful green stole for her friend, the minister, Jean who dedicated them at an outdoor summer service. Thank you Jean for the kindness and compassion you showed my sister. Shine on!
