Obituary for Cornelius "Corney" Sinke

Passed away peacefully with his children by his side, at his home in Grimsby on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at the age of 80. Loved husband of the late Marilyn (2015) and Barbara (1966). Cherished father of Betty-Anne Walkinshaw (Neil), Leah Ratelle (Glen) and Brent Sinke (Alexis). Beloved grandfather of Lyle, Ryan, Tyler, Krysten, Arista and Renata. Special thanks to everyone with the West Niagara Palliative Care Team and Dr. Smith, Dr. Kaffie and Dr. Marshall for all of your care and support. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Private Funeral Service. As per Corney's wishes, cremation and a private burial to follow at Queen's Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to McNally House Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
