Obituary for Ann Elizabeth Sostar (Kachur)
SOSTAR, Ann Elizabeth (nee Kachur) -
Passed away at her home in Burlington, on Friday, October 6, 2017 at the age of 79. Predeceased by her loving husband Emmanuel “Amo” (1996). Survived by cherished sons Anthony Sostar (Lana) and Rick Sostar (Kim). Proud grandmother of Alexandra, Benjamin, Hayden and Quinn. Predeceased by her siblings, but fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Nettie Kachur and Lois Kachur, and brother-in-law Steve Sostar (Hilda). Ann will also be missed by many nieces and nephews, other extended family, special friends Pat and Frank Hartman and many others. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), 905-632-3333, on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 10:30am. Interment will take place at Burlington Memorial Gardens, followed by a reception back at the funeral home. If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Ann’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the C.N.I.B would be appreciated.
