Obituary for Rita Mary Little (Callaghan)
Rita Mary Little, in her 93rd year, passed away peacefully in Dundas Ontario on May 9th, 2017, surrounded by family. Rita was born and raised in Lindsay Ontario by parents Steve and Emma (Curtain) Callaghan. Predeceased by husband Gerald (Jerry) Little. Rita retired from Canada Metal in Toronto after 30+ years of service.
Rita is the loving Mother of Patricia Gaudette, and Grandmother to Laura, Kimberly, Joshua, Jonathon and predeceased by Trace, Natasha, Stephen and Zachary. Also loving Great Grandmother to Rachel, Natalie, Trenton, Marissa, Teaghan, Declan, Dani, Fia, Aiden, Sterling and predeceased by Jacob and Natasha.
Rita will be remembered with love for her kind heart, generosity, and sharp sense of humour. Some of her favourite pastimes were playing cards and enjoying music.
Great appreciation goes to the staff at St. Joseph’s Villa / Valley Trails in Dundas Ontario, especially Elaine, Darcy, Natasha and Bev. Thank you for your warmth and kindness throughout Rita’s time with you.
A private family service will be held.
