Fond memories
So saddened to hear of Lil's passing.
Many memories of the Monday afternoon bridge ladies, the mixed bridge group and so miuch more... Just the other day, my mother Mildred Stevens was recalling the days when Lil and she would go golfing together. We definitely had a few giggles over some of the stories.
I remember going to the Exhibition with my Mom and Lil - I must have been only 8 years old at the most - we "gambled" on the mainway for 10 cents and won a giant pink teddy bear that we carried the entire day..... it was so many years ago but such fond memories.
Such a great photo to remember her by.
