I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mr Custis. He helped me as a new girl to the neighbourhood and school, feel valued and safe. My memory of him remains with me,even after more than 50 years

I attended the Church of Bernie for over 25 years. We played basketball every Sunday morning at Bernie's gym. My basketball friend of a life time. I will always think of him any time I am on a field or in a gym. Thanks Bernie.
