THOMPSON, Mary
Nee Lis (formerly Wojcicki)
Peacefully passed away at The Brant Centre, Burlington on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the age of 84. Predeceased by her husband Terence Thompson (November 15, 2015). Loving mother of Ron Wojcicki and his wife Joann, Tom Wojcicki and his wife Sue, Judy Lawlor and her husband Brian and step mother of Melissa Olley. Cherished Babcia of Tamara, Jeff, Adam, Paul, Tommy, Kathaleen, Mary Beth, Joe, Richard and Natalie. Beloved great Babcia of numerous great grandchildren. As ``Mrs. Christmas``, Mary`s endless generosity to family and countless friends was evident not only at Christmas but throughout the entire year. Special thank you to the doctors ,nurses and personal care workers at the Brant Centre for their care and compassion. As per Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9p.m. Service of Remembrance will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 10:30a.m. Reception to follow. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Mary are asked to please consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
