Peacefully on Friday, December 23, 2011 at the Carpenter Hospice, Burlington. Beloved wife of Jules Zeijdel for 57 years. Loving mother of Louise(Mike) Soloski, Brenda(Brian) Mingie, John (Lisa), Claire (Will) Boeschenstein, Tim and Eileen (Mark) Luxton. Cherished grandmother of Lauren (Tristan), Rachel (Niall), Andrew, Tynne, Hayley (Aaron), Daniel (Colleen), Konrad, Adam, Matthew. Much loved Great Grandmother of Jillian. Joan is survived by her sister Ann and predeceased by her sister Frances. She will be dearly missed by her best friend of over 70 years, Suzanne. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Patricks Roman Catholic Church, 196 Kenwood Drive, Burlington on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 10:30am. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations made to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
