Was called home to glory on Tuesday, January 2, 2012. Sadly missed by his beautiful wife Barbara (nee Bezemer); his seven children, John and Jessica, Sandra and Mark, Jennifer and Gerard, Bryan and Andrea, Robert and Nicole, Andrea and Kevin, Colin and Esther, and 17 grandchildren; sisters Co Voskamp, Lanie Nyland, Gerda and Harman Vandermeulen, brother Ed and Tina van Geest, and sister-in-law Joyce van Geest. Predeceased by: infant children Elizabeth (1965), Edward (1972), and four year old Rachel (1975-1979); brother Adrian, sister Wilhamina, and brothers-in-law Henk, Arie and Clarence. Visitation will take place at Mountainview Christian Reformed Church, 290 Main Street East, Grimsby on Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 p.m. Service of Remembrance on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. Private burial. Arrangements entrusted to STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUENRAL HOME, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755). If desired, donations to Grimsby Life Centre or McNally House Hospice would be sincerely appreciated.
