Passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington in his 96th year. Predeceased by his wife Norma (nee Falconbridge). Beloved husband of Doris Jean (nee Page). Dear father of Robert (Susan), John (Kathryn) and Tom (Karen). Cherished grandfather of Jenelle, Reid (Emily), Amanda (Dave), Bethany (Jeremy), Katelyn (Ben), Heather, Caleb (Abby), Meredith (Alex), and Jillian (Chris). He will be fondly remembered by Doris’s children Corinne (Les), Douglas (Donna), Sandra (Peter) and Sharon (David), and their children Luke (Shelly), Bethany (Chris), Simon (Stephanie), Aaron, Daniel, Jaclyn (Damien), Malory, Justine, Jordan (Whitney), Landon (Kim), Chandler and Teegan. Great-grandfather of twenty-one. Predeceased by his siblings Ellen, Harold and Charles, and survived by his sisters Georgina and Esther.
A Celebration of his Life and his Lord will take place at Compass Point Bible Church (1500 Kerns Road, Burlington) on Tuesday, November 6 at 1 p.m., with a memorial gathering to follow. Private interment at Greenwood Cemetery has taken place. For those who wish, donations in memory of Josiah to Compass Point Bible Church, Diabetes Canada or The Gideons would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
