Fred and I both attended OCE for the Industrial Arts course. Fred was living at his dad,s place on Hwy.5 and Elsie and I were temporarily living with my grandparents at Kingsholm Farms (The Kaiting House)on Hwy.5 while our house was being built in Tottenham. I would walk down the lane to Hwy.5 and Fred would pick me up on his way to OCE. We were saddened to learn of Fred's recent illnesses and of course, his passing. He was a talented teacher, creative woodworker and most of all, a good friend. We will miss him.
