Auntie June's fabulous lipstick

Dear Karen, Michael, John and Annemarie,

I was so sad to hear about Auntie June’s passing. I see here that you’ve chosen a photo that perfectly captures how I always thought of her - great hair and perfect lipstick.

As a child I remember loving kissing her hello & goodbye because you would walk away with a glamorous lipstick kiss.

In the receiving line at my wedding we joked about lining up our kisses so we wouldn’t mess each other’s make-up ... then I turned and kissed your Dad and left lipstick on him. It was not a flattering look and we had a good laugh. I miss them both.

I like to imagine Nick and Kojack waiting for her at the house ... and now she is yelling at Kojack to stay out of the flower beds !

I wish I could be there tomorrow to help send her off !

With much love and condolences to the four of you and your families,

Susie , Tony & Sophie
