.... I moved away from my hometown in Ontario in August 1994 to persue a new challenge in Vancouver, British Columbia and that is when I said "so long" to Patsy.

Even though 22 years had passed until our paths crossed again Patsy and I had never lost touch. My life took me to Thailand for a few years and still, Patsy never forgot me. I received a Christmas card every year. 

I am so very thankful Jim and Patsy were in Vancouver summer of 2016, when after 22 years our eyes met again. Truthfully, I was nervous to see them after so long, but in an instant that shyness dissipated as we hugged, again.

I will treasure our visit and hold it very close to my heart.

My Patsy, I love you, rest my sweet, until we meet again : "time is not distance."
