Obituary for Piero Paul "Peter" Corradetti

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Peter on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at his home in his 70th year. Loved son of Emma and the late Adamo. Beloved father of Jennifer Shkopiak (Ryan), Jeffery and Adam. Cherished Nonno of Nathan, Joshua and Jordana. Dear brother of Max (the late Carole). Peter will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and countless friends. Peter worked at Stelco Steel as an Instrument Technician for 45 years. He devoted several years as a hockey coach for Rosedale Minor Hockey, where he was recognized with the President’s Award for Coaching Excellence. Peter was an avid Ticats fan and a gifted photographer. He had an eye for seeing the simple beauty in life. With all the great pictures he took, he has left us a lifetime of cherished memories. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Wednesday at 8:40 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway #8, Stoney Creek on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 12 p.m. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Mud Street, Stoney Creek Mountain. If desired, memorial contributions to the Good Shepherd Hamilton would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
