MUIR, Edward Keenan –
At Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the age of 73. Beloved common-law partner of Wendy Mealand. Predeceased by his very dear wife, Sandra Jeanne Muir (nee Strong). Loved father of Terri Thouless and her husband Dave of Burlington and cherished Poppa of Connor and Logan. The youngest of 11 children, he is survived only by his sister Violet Dawson of Burlington. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Cremation. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, June 2, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Service of Remembrance in the Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
