Herta and Arnold were two of the most lovely people I ever had the pleasure to know in my time as organist at Christ Our Saviour. After Arnold's passing, Herta gave me a lovely gift of a glass jar of Werther's Originals, which Arnold had always kept in his pocket (and slipped to me, and every other kid in church as a wonderful "secret" treat), because she knew how special that memory was to me. She was a wonderful and thoughtful lady, and her family meant the world to her. She spoke often to me, in passing, of how proud she was of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I am so saddened by her passing and wish strength and peace to her many friends and family members who mourn her loss at this time.
