Passed away at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, June 18, 2016, in his 97th year. Beloved husband of Lien for over 68 years. Loved father of Lia Vanderlinden and Leo Vanderlinden (Brenda). Cherished grandfather of Trevor (Christiane) and Todd (Christina) and great-grandfather of Thomas and Laurent. Dear brother of Harry Vanderlinden (Marjorie). Survived also by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Holland. Special thanks to Glenn, Dianna and Debbie for all of your support. Private cremation has taken place. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 6-9 p.m., where the Service of Remembrance will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 1 p.m. Reception to follow at the Funeral Home.
