You were one of the strongest and most determined people I have had the pleasure of knowing. Your strength through your illness was so inspiring to me. I love that these qualities shine through Mark thanks to you. We will always keep our memories of you close to us.

Uncle Wayne will be greatly missed by us all. His voice was as unique as him, i will always remember the sound of his laugh. not many people have the privilege to say they knew their great-uncle, i feel incredibly lucky. he had a heart of gold and his legacy will live on through his loved ones. family functions will not be the same without him.

You are no longer suffering, but rather, peaceful now. I will never forget you, Wayne, and I thank you for your friendship. I can't even remember when I didn't know you. So until we meet up again (and we will), I can't help but think about all the times you stood behind me saying - cash out, cash out. You know what I mean. Rest in peace, Wayne.

I know you are no longer suffering, which gives me peace. You were an amazing brother, who had such love for his family. I will cherish all the great trips we had down east. I will miss baking for you. You tried everything to fight your disease and our brother donated his bone marrow cells to you in hopes it would end this long battle. We wish you were here.I will hold on to all these memories and will think of you often.Give your love to mom and dad for us, until we meet again. love and kisses from your sister; Joan.

Truly it was a honour knowing Wayne; he was a force and a spirit to be reckoned with, having fought these past several years with determination and grace through his illness. He was an inspiration to Nancy and I as he continued on with his life as best he could. Thankful for each day. A kind and gentle man. Thank you Wayne. Cathy, Mark, and Laura please accept our heartfelt sympathy.

Wayne was a kind and gentle soul. He loved to come down east and visit especially when he could ride his motorbike. Back in the early seventies he brought me T-,shirt from Ontario. On it it had a Union seal that said Gange Farmers Union, local 1733 with a pic of a marijuana plant in the Center. Being a kid 10' or 11 I did not have a clue what this meant for quite some time. I sure it shocked some of the teachers in sleepy little Chipman. I am sure Wayne had quite the chuckle out of this being a young man in his twenties. I could feel his pain in just talking to him on the phone. I am happy that least he will not suffer any more.
