Condolences

Condolence From: Lynn Ohanian
Condolence: Our condolences to the McNiff and Crockford families. My brother, Tom, and I knew Meredith as an outstanding athlete and lovely young lady at OTHS. As I was just starting my teaching career, she set the bar high for future students. It is evident for the beautiful tributes here, that she grew to be a wonderful friend, sister, wife and mother. We are saddened by her passing.

Condolence: When I heard that Meredith has passed I put a message on Facebook for all the OTHS friends to see. Within minutes the message started poured in with memories of Meredith as a player, a coach, a mentor and a friend. She was such a wonderful person - a true competitor who played hard while always smiling. She will be remembered whenever ACDC is playing! All our best to Melanie, Kirsten and the rest of the family from Kirsten Campbell, Kelly McCarthy, Pam Bovey, Kerry Shales, Shelagh Foster, Pam Dorion, Bernadette Kay, Blair Batterson, Lesley Cirenko, Liza Munda, Lisa Mitchel (the volleyball team maiden names) as well as Janet Lang and so many others from OTHS.

Condolence: I'm so sorry to hear of Meredith's passing. I have such fond memories of coaching all three girls in softball at E.J. They were excellent math students and excelled in the band as well. They were a joy to be around. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

Condolence: To all of Mer's family - Anyone who has had the pleasure and privilege of associating with Mer in any way (for me it was baseball and I met her through Carolyn over 20 years ago, wow!) is a better person today for knowing her. Then our paths crossed again through the GALS league - a true sportswoman and athlete who I have always admired and I remember thinking I wish I were a natural like she was. A true friend and team-mate, rest in peace and we will see you again someday! Hugs to all.
