Peacefully at Billings Court Manor, Burlington on Monday, February 1, 2016 at the age of 100. Beloved husband of Katherine for 65 years. Loving father of Stanley Prokopowicz (Katryn) and Irene Pratt (Gary). Cherished grandfather of Laurie (John), Holley, Alanna and Robyn. Adored great grandfather of Kyrstin, Evan and Avery. Predeceased by his parents John and Michalina as well as his siblings Zophia, John and Stanislaus of Poland. Paul was a World War II Veteran, a long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion and an employee of the City of Burlington for 35 years. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9p.m. Vigil prayers 8:30p.m. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Brant Street (at Blairholm), Burlington on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 10:30a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington.
