I have been fortunate to have know the Sherwood family since the mid 1960's. I grew up with them in that time period when things were a lot simpler. They were like a second family to me as I was always there. Too many memories to list here. But my fondest memorie of Marilyn was sitting under the carport on a hot summers day with the tall poplar trees along the driveway rusting in the breeze. She had us peeling and pitting the fresh peaches for her and there were a few bushels to be done. When we were all done she came out of the side door and gave us a tall half glass of cold beer to quench our thirst. I think I was about 14 years old at the time and it was the most delicious thing I had ever had to drink. Somethings in life you never forget and she will be one of them for me.
