Richard “Dick” passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington. Deeply loved husband of the late Tove (April 2, 1993). Charter Member of Trafalgar Golf & Country Club. Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Edel Pickup, nephew Riley (Yvonne) Moynes, niece Ann (Wayne) Moynes Stickley, great-nephews Chris (Sarah) and Peter (Jenny) Moynes, great-nieces Hilary (Shane) Beasley, Summer (Chris) Stickley and great-great nieces and nephews Dylan, Jamie-June, Riley and Charlie Moynes, Keaton, Tanner and Harper Beasley and Elle Stickley. Dick was a kind, gentle and unique man, we loved him. Visitation at Smith's Funeral Home, 485 Brant St. (one block north of City Hall) Burlington (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at which time a Service of Remembrance will be held in the Chapel. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
