Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Antoni "Toni" (2005), Loving mother of Reggie Hopkins (David) and Henry. Proud grandmother of Craig, Lisa (Jamie), Dan (Molly), Alison (David), and great-grandmother of Sean, Mark, Emma, Isabel and McKenna. Dear sister of Edward, Tadeusz and Stanley Piwonski in Poland, and special friend of Vida and Jackie. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 5-8 PM. Vigil prayers for Zofia at 7:30 PM at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, 2261 Parkway Drive, Burlington on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 11 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Zofia to The Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes or charity of choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
