Obituary for William "Bill" Coakley

COAKLEY, William “Bill”-
Surrounded by his family, passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Browne) for 60 years. Loving father of Sandra Maye, Scott Coakley and Cheryl Coakley Miller. Cherished Grandpa of Brandi, Blair, Amanda, Courtney, Mikaela, Leah and great-grandfather of Felicity, Luke, Genevieve and Alex. Dear brother of Doug, Ken, Arthur and Paul. Bill worked until the very end. He had an electrical background with Oakville Hydro and after retirement he continued in the field, teaching electricity safety and conservation. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. (Arrangements entrusted to Smith’s Funeral Home, Burlington, 905-632-3333)
