It is with great sadness that we announce that Bill Bittner passed away peacefully at The Carpenter Hospice surrounded by his family on Monday, October 11, 201o. Leaving behind are his loving wife Marilyn (Totten), his two children William (Terri) of Neenah, Wisconsin, and Suzanne DePaul (Ray) of Waterloo. He is loving grandfather of Chris and Miles DePaul and Jessica and Nicholas Bittner. Bill is the son of the late Mildred and Emmet Bittner of Pittsburgh, PA, and brother to Robert (Patsy) of Dallas, TX. Predeceased by his brother Thomas and sisters Jane and Elizabeth. He is son-in-law of predeceased Charles and Virginia Totten of Pittsburgh. Bill was born in Pittsburgh and was transferred to Canada by WABCO in 1970 to help build a plant in Stoney Creek. He is a graduate of Notre Dame University and recieved his Masters degree at Case Western in Cleveland, Ohio. A reception will follow immediately after in the church hall.
