Peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Oakville, on Saturday, September 18, 2010, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Marjorie for 66 years. Bill was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a Veteran of WWII and an employee of Ford Motor Company for 25 years working in Oakville and St. Thomas. A Celebration of Bill's Life will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall) BURLINGTON, (905-632-3333) on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. If desired, donations in memory of Bill, to the Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Association, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
