Obituary for Wilfred Cote

Cote, Wilfred Joseph-
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Creekway Village, Burlington, on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Lucille (nee Desrochers) for 60 years. Loved father of Paul Cote and his wife Sue of St. Catharines. Wilf will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Predeceased by two sisters and six brothers. Wilf was a Gunner on the Lancaster in WWII. He and Lucille spent many happy winters in Florida. He was an avid golfer, loved his cars and lived life to the fullest. Special thanks to all of the loving and caring staff, especially Lori, at Creekway Village. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Prayer Vigil Sunday at 7 pm at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 934 Highway #8, Winona, on Monday, April 12, 2010, at 10 am. Interment Mountview Gardens. If desired, memorial contributions to the Juravinski Cancer Centre or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
