Obituary for Vivian Mary Toldi (Balogh)

Vivian Mary  Toldi (Balogh)
Toldi, Vivian (nee Balogh)

Peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital, on Saturday, December 31, 2016, at the age of 73. Cherished wife of the late Ernie (2002). Much loved mother to Glenn (Tanya) and Sherri (Todd) Jamieson. Adored grandma to Jacob, Miranda, Logan, and Cameron. Predeceased by her mother Mary Balogh (2010). Vivian is survived by her siblings Jean (Warren) Wilson, Janet (Mike) Fowler, Aron (the late Ann) Balogh, and brothers-in-law Nick (Irene) Toldi and Bert (Nancy) Toldi. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews. Vivian enjoyed many happy times with good friends at her summer retreat (Pigeon Lake). Vivian also enjoyed her trips to the casino, " 'cause nothing ever hurts at the casino!" Special thanks for the help and support provided by the CCAC, Joseph Brant Cancer Clinic and the caring staff on 3 West at St. Peter's Hospital.

Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 1p.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Peter's Hospital Foundation- Palliative Care would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
