Scattolon, Vittoria-
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Vittoria Scattolon at Clarion Nursing Home, in Stoney Creek, on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Guido. Dearly missed by his children Danny Scattolon, Gabriella (Armando) Beraldo and Frank (Karen) Scattolon, grandchildren Jenna Scattolon, Aimee (Dwayne) Cline, Paul (Elisa) Beraldo, Mark Beraldo, Stephen (Tina) Beraldo, Tina (Nick) Colamartini, Sarah Scattolon, Mark Scattolon and seven great-grandchildren. Sister of Giovanni and predeceased by one sister and one brother. Also survived by her sister-in-law Grace and many nieces and nephews. Vittoria was born in Vedelago, Italy and emigrated to Canada in 1951. She was a loving wife and mother who loved cooking for her family and took pride in her flower gardens. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm , with Vigil Prayers at 4:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway #8, Stoney Creek, on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at 10 am. Interment Mountview Gardens Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
