Obituary for Valerio DeMarinis
Peacefully passed away at Hamilton General Hospital on Thursday, October 1, 2015, in his 75th year. He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters and grandchildren. Beloved husband of Giuliana (nee Colaiacovo). Loved father of Patricia Zima and her husband Chuck, Maria Kivell and her husband Steve and Josie Aubert. Cherished Nonno of Samantha, Natalie, Jessica, Sarah, Patrick, Kathryn, Devon, Sabrina, Kirsten and Katrina. Survived by his one sister and three brothers. Predeceased by his parents Maria and Antonio De Marinis. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Sunday from 5-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church (Barton Street East and Gage Avenue North), Hamilton, on Monday, October 5, 2015, at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
