VICKERS, Timothy Owen –

Passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the age of 53. Beloved partner of Dana McCardle for 14 years. Father of Michael (Ashley) of St. Catharines, Melissa (Brad) of Milton. Proud grandfather of Maximus. Loving son to Doug and Theresa (predeceased). Loving brother to 7 brothers and sisters. Tim will be missed by his four legged “kids”, Billy and Sophie. Tim will be remembered for his love of camping. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his cottaging friends Kathy (jeep jeep), Sue and Rheal, Trudy and Glenn and all those that knew him through Fortinos, especially Karen, Jess, Leslie and Ana. He will also be remembered for his zest for life and as a hard working person. Tim will also be missed by Dana’s family, Barb and Tracy, and his work family at Zeton Inc. We would also like to thank the staff at Joseph Brant Hospital for taking exceptional care of Tim . Special thanks to nurse Ed. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering to Celebrate Tim’s Life will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 3-5 p.m.
