Arundale, Susan (nee Hilton)

Born in Oldham, England, Susan passed away peacefully on Friday, February 11, 2011 in her 100th year at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington. Predeceased by her husband Thomas (1982). Dear and loving mother of the late Vera Clegg (2008) and her husband Derek (U.K.), Edna Featherstone-Unger and her husband George, Mavis Clarke and her husband Malcolm. Cherished grandmother of Philip (Moira), Graham and Darrel Clegg (U.K.), Kim Torrance, Karen Halstead (Greg Davies), Michael Featherstone (Laura), Mark Featherstone (Cecilia), Steve (Joyce), Stuart (Brenda) and David Lockhart and great-grandmother of 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by sister Annie Rostern (Albert) and nephew Albert Rostern. Auntie Sue will be sadly missed by niece Mary Swan and nephew Peter Rostern (Linda). Special thanks to the nursing staff at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital on 4 south for their wonderful care. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stop light north of QEW) BURLINGTON, (905-632-3333) on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. where a celebration of life service will take place on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 11 a.m. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital or a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated.
