Passed away peacefully at Ridgeview Longterm Care, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the age of 82. Predeceased by her beloved husband George Wesley “Wes” Nesbitt. Dear mother of David (Louise) of Belleville, Blair (Lori) of Hamilton and Donna Driver (Ian) of Ancaster. Cherished grandmother of Ryan (Jill), Jason, Amanda (Gary), Colin, Matthew and Megan. Shirley will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. A reception will follow at the Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Diabetes Foundation, CNIB or End Polio would be greatly appreciated.
