CAREY, Shirley Marguerite (nee Gies)
Peacefully at the Brant Centre, Burlington on Thursday morning March 10, 2005, age 84. Beloved wife of the late Jerry. Much loved mother of Patricia and her husband Chris Wakelin of Oakville and Tom and his wife Anne of Calgary. Special Grandma of Harley, Devon, Jesse, Sean and Alex and great-grandma of Silas. Shirley is predeceased by her son Michael. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at SMITH`S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, (Brant Street at Blairholm, Burlington), on Monday March 14, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. If desired, donations to the Diabetes Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family. The family wish to thank the staff at the Brant Centre for their wonderful care.
