June 21, 1949 - May 21, 2016
It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of Sharon Lapensee at Creekway Village, Burlington, ON, on Saturday May 21, 2016 at the age of 66. Sharon was predeceased by her loving husband Randall “Scott” (Dec 2015), her mother Beatrice Allan and sister Maureen Staniszewski.
Sharon will be greatly missed by all who knew her. No one will ever forget her infectious laughter and good spirit. She is survived by her sister Linda, brother Rick (Rose), brother-in-law Ron (Sheila), nieces and nephews Grev, Marnie, Melissa, Lindsey, Geoffrey and god-daughter Kelly Koscielak. Sharon will be dearly missed by many cousins and other family members and dear friends especially Karen and Adam Koscielak.
The family wishes to express their thanks to all friends, doctors, nurses and support staff at Creekway Village for their care and compassion. Private cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2265 Headon Road, Burlington on July 9th, 2016, Visitation at St Paul's Church 10:00 A.M., Service at 11:00 A.M., and Refreshments to follow in the church hall. Interment will take place at a later date in Ottawa. Donations in Sharon’s memory to The Christian Children’s Fund or Epilepsy Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
