Passed away at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 1:30pm.
It is with profound sadness that our family announce the peaceful passing of our sweet angel. Sharon was the beloved wife of 46 years to Tony. She was the loving mother to Marnie (Lisa) and Norman (Jennifer) and dedicated grandmother to Colleen (Adam), Stephanie (BJ) Shannon, Emma, Rachel and Abbey as well as five great grandchildren and five nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her sister Kathleen (Eddie) and brother Norman (Karen). She truly was a shining light whose love, strength and purity are a lasting legacy to all who knew her. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 1 p.m. Interment Burlington Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sharon to The Lung Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
